Backing Finish

Gripper backing: Gripper backing has tiny rubber protrusions which catch on your carpet fibres to help to MINIMISE movement. How well they perform will vary due to the different carpet specifications.

Smooth backing: Smooth backing is best for a hard floor. Two smooth surfaces work together to reduce movement. Before placing on a hard floor - hoover and mop the floor, leave to dry and then lay your mat down. Over time dust can transfer onto the back of your mat and reduce the tackiness of the rubber. Wash the back down, leave to dry and then replace.

Mat Wells

Wells are generally not square and rubber backed mats also have some size tolerance so we always manufacture well mats oversized to ensure the fabric part of the mat is at least the size of your well space.

Borderless mats have to be made oversized and then cut back to your required 'finished size'.

Depending on the time of your order we endeavour wherever possible to despatch 'In Stock' products the same day. Orders should usually reach you in 1-2 working days. The delivery time for non-stock items is indicated under 'Availability' on the individual product page. All deliveries will need to be signed for.

We offer free delivery to one address on all orders over £45.00 (excl VAT) in value. Orders less than £45.00 (excl VAT) pay a delivery charge of £7.50 (+vat). Guaranteed next day delivery is available at additional cost, if required.

Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, UK Offshore Islands, Isle of Man

A delivery surcharge of £14.95 (+ vat) is applicable for these regions and will be added to your order at check-out. Delivery times will also be slightly extended with stock items being delivered in approx. 3-5 working days.
